It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 17th Annual Meeting of Japan Society for Molecular Science held from September 12 (Tue) through 15 (Fri) at the Toyonaka Campus of Osaka University. This series of meetings is the largest academic event every year hosted by Japan Society for Molecular Science. More than 1,000 participants, including scientists and students, get together in every meeting from all over the country to conduct research presentations and lively discussions to deepen their understanding of the physical properties and richness of functions possessed by molecules. A special lecture is planned for the first time since the 11th meeting. We hope that the participants will be inspired by the lectures and discussions and have productive four days.
The meeting venue is located in a quiet and calm area apart from the hustle and bustle of downtown Osaka. In addition, it is a place with good traffic access that can be reached from Osaka Airport by two monorail stations or from Shin-Osaka Station with only one transfer.
Last year, thanks to the endeavors of the organizing committee headed by professors from Keio University, we were able to enjoy a face-to-face discussion for the first time in three years. We are certain that the participants in the meeting recalled the fun of face-to-face discussion. We are also confident that young graduate students realized the fun for the first time. This year, hot discussions are anticipated again. Join us for the four-day science festival and share your exciting data. We look forward to seeing you at the meeting in Osaka.
